HOW SPIDER VEINS IN THE LEGS ARE CAUSED
Varicose veins are mainly capillaries or larger vessels, the valves of which have been damaged. Blood flow is significantly higher and to the opposite direction than normal, which is responsible for their enlarged and dilated form on the legs.
The appearance of varicose veins in the legs can be due to various factors such as overexposure to sunlight, injury, heredity, hormonal disorders. Additional aggravating factors are considered to be obesity, long hours of standing or sitting, mainly due to work, taking contraceptives or hormone therapy, lack of exercise, some massage techniques, but also thrombophilia, ie the tendency of blood to form clots. However, in many cases, their appearance may be due to venous insufficiency, so before treatment, triplex may be recommended.
